Saint Antonio Chapel is located in an area known as “Cali Viejo” (“Old Cali”) in the highest part of a hill bearing the same name.
More than just an old building, this chapel is a historic relic. The Main Altar in a Baroque style, the old bell tower and authentic religious images dating from old times are some of the most interesting features of this building.
Its white facade nicely contrasts with the green hill, becoming an ideal place to rest. Tourists as well as local people visit this place regularly.

at least one viewpoint to enjoy commanding views, Santiago
de Cali has more than one. Belalcazar vantage point
is the main one.
It is located in the highest part of Circunvalación Avenue, where a statue of its founder, don Sebastian de Belalcázar, has been erected.
The Belalcazar viewpoint has become a powerful symbol of the city and one of the main tourist attractions. This place is surrounded by the Parque del Acueducto (Aqueduct Park), the Saint Antonio Church, Teatro de los Cristales and an old neighborhood named Peñon.

Pance is a large rural area in the south of Santiago
de Cali. This place, an important center of attraction
for tourists, is covered in lush vegetation and surrounded
by a river bearing the same name.
The river rises in the area known as Farallones de Cali and flows into the Cauca river. Its cold, crystal clear waters dazzle visitors and are used for irrigation in the high areas of the community.
In the area known as La Vorágine a wide variety of recreational activities can be enjoyed. What is more, visiting the Parque de la Salud, in the river bank is highly recommendable as well, especially during the weekends.

Caicedo Square is the civic center of the beautiful Santiago de Cali city and the meeting place for a wide range of jobs and occupations.
The square was named in honor of the leader Caicedo y Cuero and since its foundation it has been a useful point of reference for other places in the city.
Notary publics, hawkers, lottery ticket sellers, shoeshine boys among others can be found here offering customers their services.
The Square is surrounded by modern buildings and historic ones, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace, and by tall and typical palm trees.

The Cali Fair, very well known worldwide, is the main cultural event in the area. It is the 49th occasion on which this festival is held.
It takes place between the 25th and 30th December. At first, the dancing and the party itself were the main attractions. However, sports and cultural events began to be included nowadays and the fair became even more attractive.
People enjoy many activities like an opening cabalgata (parade of horseback riders), parades, bullfights, recreational and athletic activities, activities for music lovers and salsa concerts, among others.
