It is hardly surprising that the beaches are the main tourist attraction of this seaside resort and the one bordered by the Avenida Atlântica (Atlantic Avenue) is the best known one. Nevertheless, a wide range of other tourist facilities can be found in Camboriu as well.  
 
Some examples of these tourist spots are: the Ilha das Cabras, the Iglesia Matriz Santa Inês, Iglesia de Santo Amaro and Balneário Camboriu Park.

Beaches such as Bombas and Bombinhas and Cuatro Islas are a must for tourists visiting the area and the best known ones are Estalerinho, Laranjeiras, Taquerinhas, Mato de Camboriu, Aquaras, Estaleiro and Barra.

Given the city's great infrastructure regarding hotels, restaurants and bars, during the high season many seminars, conventions and conferences are often held here. 

This well known park is a great attraction for both children and grownups. Children can experience country life in a small ranch which has been laid out in the same conditions people from the interior of the country live in.  
 
A mini zoo can be found in the park, which is home to a variety of local birds among other animal species. Also, there is a salt water aquarium with exotic fish and even turtles.

Moreover, a magnificent collection of snakes and spiders can be seen here, as well as an original city of "Porquinhos de la India" (Portuguese for guinea pigs).

It consists of indoor areas that have a total capacity for 2500 people. A food court can be found here, including a restaurant with panoramic view and some bars.  

Visitors can buy presents since there are shops where souvenirs and pictures are sold. There is a parking space and an information center available for visitors.  

In order to access this spot there are transport services offered, mainly from the city centre, that will take tourists there for free.

This seaside resort proves ideal for people who enjoy taking part in outdoor activities and above all for people keen on fishing.

The area known as "Estaleiro" and "Estaleirinho" is located eleven kilometres away from the city centre, in an area where nature is still wild, and it is excellent for such sport.

Both areas have crystal clear water and coarse sand and there is a small centre where inns and restaurants can be found. This place is very popular among European visitors and inhabitants with high purchasing power, who hugely enjoy getting back to nature in a peaceful area.

This monument, called Cristo Luz, was built in 1997; it is 33 meters high and has a special illumination.

From the left hand a spotlight of 86 tones illuminates the Christ at night. From this site it is possible to enjoy a stunning view of the beach known as "Praia Central"

Moreover, an important tourist resort can be found at this monument, and it is possible to visit a variety of shops as well as comfortable coffee shops where excellent service is offered.

Kayaks and other vessels are the only means of transport available to access this island known as Ilha das Cabras (Goat`s Island) and enjoy its beautiful attractions.

This natural beauty, which is a well worth visiting spot in Camboriu, is located 600 meters away from Praia Central.

This amazing park is another of the area's chief attractions, ideal for people of all ages. A fantasy world that tourist will be willing to visit again.

Amusement parks, islands, zoos and circus are some of the main attractions that visitors can enjoy in this place.

In addition to all this several show are held daily at Beto Carrero as well, which feature dances and typical fights. In total, the park consists of 50 different areas.
