Camboriu is an area with a pleasant climate, high temperatures where the bright sun shines constantly and beautiful beaches can be visited. Hence, it offers varied entertainment programmes and excellent fun.
Not only are the beaches a chief attraction during the day, but also they are important part of the city's nightlife. A broad variety of sports can be done here as well, such as beach-soccer. This sport has almost become a tradition in the area.
At least once a year two beach-soccer championships are held in this city and teams from all neighbouring cities take part in them. What is more, some seasons ago Camboriu was chosen as the host city for the South American Games of beach volleyball and jet ski.
Surf is also well developed here as well as hang gliding and paragliding in the north Pontal from the Monte del Careca, where the country's highest fixed climbing wall is found.
In that same place high-risk sports can be done such as rappelling, skating, tree climbing, kart-racing, among others.
