Cordoba city’s International Airport is known as Ing. Ambrosio L.V.Taravella. Such airport is located 0,9 kilometres Northwest from Cordoba city and 31º 18' '7" South and 64º 12' 08" West.
Due to the vast number of passengers and aeroplanes that are received daily, it is the country's third largest airport after Aeroparque and Ezeiza. It covers an area of 1020 hectares and the platform is as large as 57,350 m2.
In the year 2006 the airport expanded and a new building of 1,9 hectares was inaugurated intended for receiving a greater number of passengers and aeroplanes. The terminal is divided into three levels.
On the lower level the arrival halls are located. In both halls shops, tourist information offices and car rental companies can be found.
On the middle level the varied airline’s desk can be found and, finally, on the upper level the waiting room and boarding halls are located.
Moreover, a large number of magazine and sweet shops, as well as regional items shop and an ample parking space with a total capacity of 450 vehicles are available at the airport.
