A complete structure of reception for visitors
situated at the entrance of the Park surrounded the administrative
area and offers to all the visitors, service information,
telephones, bath services, change, nursery, bank branch
and post office, souvenirs and parking area. |

Transport system |
The new transport system of the park has comfortable
and modern panoramic buses, double-deck, with capacity for
72 people, allowing the passenger more interaction with
the environment, contact with the fauna and flora all along
the visit to the waterfalls.
The mechanical of the buses is developed according to the
Conama Standard (National Council of Brazil Environment)
with emission of gases and polluters reduced.
Each of the buses has an exclusive paint that represents
some of the animals of the park: “onza pintada”,
butterfly, “coati”, “macaco-prego”,
“toucan”, “papagayo” and “yellow
jacare de buche”.

Porto Canoas Space |
The Porto Canoas area is an excellent
structure of attention and services: telephones, nursery,
area for environmental exposition, sightseeing sites to
admire the nature, cafeteria and restaurant of international
level.
The restaurant Porto Canoas was projected to privilege the
contact with nature; it has a viewpoint over the Iguassu
river that permits the visitors to have a unique view on
the superior part of the waterfalls.

Souvenirs Shop |
Cataratas S/A has two shops, one in the Center
of Visitors and the other in the Porto Canoas space, both
have got 500 m2 of area where exclusive souvenirs are offered
to the visitors (some of them have the same design as the
one of the buses) apart from the confections, hand crafts,
stones, accessories, photos and videos, stationer’s
and toys. |
Naipi Space |
In the area where worked an antique lift with
capacity for seven people, they are building two panoramic
lifts for 15 people each one, with 27 meters high, allowing
a wide vision of the waterfalls.
A viewpoint “embraces” the elevators, advancing
five meters in direction to the Iguassu river to permit
the visitors a new angle to contemplate the Falls.
This new structure will give more freedom of movement to
the physical handicapped who will have, apart from this
place, other projected areas to give them a complete vision
of the waterfalls.
As you can see, anyone physical handicapped will have access
even to the footbridge of Garganta del Diablo, through the
elevators and the system of ramps that are in the paths.

NAIPI SPACE

Taroba Space |
Here will be constructed a small building of
two floors. The superior floor will be at the level of the
route BR- 469 and the inferior one at the level of the path
of the waterfalls, working like this as a link between both
parts and offering to the visitors a center of expositions,
a viewpoint to appreciate the waterfalls. There are also
food services, drinks, water, ice- creams, photo films and
toilets.

Santos Dumont Space |
The revitalization of the reserve will be completed
with elevated paths in the forest with special movil service
that will allow the visitors to reach the top of the trees
and to have a great and complete view of the peninsula and
the Iguazu river over the Waterfalls. |
