Airlines suh as Aero Condor, Lan Peru and Star Peru fly daily to and from Lima and the flight lasts about an hour and a half.

As for river transport, it is possible to access Iquitos from many national and foreign destinations.

The main river ports from where boats leave to Iquitos are Pucallpa (Ucayali River), Yurimaguas (Huallaga River) and Santa Rosa from where it is possible to have access to Leticia.

While the Marañon River connects Iquitos and Tarapoto city through Yurimaguas, the Napo and Putumayo rivers connect it with Ecuador.
