If travelling from Montevideo, Interbalnearia Route should be followed until arriving at the junction with Route 9. Once there, Route 9 must be followed as far as the junction with Route 15, in Rocha. Finally, we should take Route 15 until La Paloma is reached, 28 kilometres ahead.

Whether travelling from Brazil, Route BR 471 ought to be followed until arriving at a place known as Chuy. Once there we will follow Route 9 as far as Rocha and afterwards travel 28 kilometres along Route 15 in order to arrive at La Paloma.

A further possibility if travelling from Brazil is taking Route 9 from Chuy up to Castillos. Once there, Route 16 must be followed until arriving at the junction with Route 10. Travel along this route until Route 15 in order to arrive finally at La Paloma.
