Nowadays, the well-known Independence Park of Rosario is regarded as one of the city’s most significant places in terms of tradition.
Such park is the ideal place for people who wish to relax completely. Here, not only is it possible to go for a boat ride along the lake but also to have an enjoyable time with children, since it also features the Children’s Garden (Jardín de los Niños).
What is more, the Rural Society, the International Park, the Racetrack, the Newell’s Old Boys Colossus, or water fountains with music and flashing lights are also some of the major attractions the Independence Park has to offer.

The Costa Alta is a pedestrian path covering more than six hundred metres long, also known as the Walker’s Tour.
It is this path that links Fontanarrosa and Galicia Streets with a T-shape static dock and with the Bajada Escauriza.
Geographically, it is located in the above mentioned Bajada Escauriza, Fontanarrosa, Galicia and the Paraná River. Nowadays, it features an elevator that can hold up to thirty people.

This park is one of the most representative and emblematic places in Rosario today. The Flag Memorial stands in this park which is surrounded by a number of important buildings and the Malvinas War Memorial.
In the National Flag Park a wide range of bars can be enjoyed within the renovated Fluvial Station. From this station, motorboats sail to an exclusive summer beach in Rosario, el Banquito.
What is more, should you wish to go for a pleasant Sunday walk, the craft fair known as “Paño al Piso” is a must. Here, during the first days of November, the Communities’ Fair is held.

Originally, this park was meant to be a zoo. Nevertheless, the Children’s Garden changed its course and nowadays far from being a preservation area it became a Recovery Centre and Hospital for wild species.
In addition, recreational and educational activities are often organised here, such as exhibitions of audio-visual material, an ecological library and an interactive museum.

The Rose Bush |
There are few places so wonderful as the Rose Bush, an attraction that can be enjoyed at any time of the day. Walking along its small paths full of roses, Santa Rita plants and pergolas may be perfectly pleasant.
Inside the park, one of the city’s most attractive monuments can be enjoyed, the Spaniard’s Fountain (Fuente de los Españoles).
Such fountain consists of approximately one thousand pieces of ceramic specially designed in Spain. It is six metres tall and its diameter is of eighteen metres.
