How to Arrive to San Jose de Costa Rica

How to travel by Air

Since Costa Rica is located in the center of Central America, most of the world's airlines operate in this country. Hence, access by air is really easy.

Most of the international flights arrive in the Juan Santamaría International Airport of San Jose and Daniel Oduber Quirós. The airport tax for international flights is seventeen dollars.

However, there are two important national airlines: SANSA and Travelair. In this case, airline reservations must be made well in advance.

Visitors should be aware of the fact that for citizens of some countries no visa is required in order to remain in Costa Rica for ninety days.
