Most of the international flights arrive in the Juan Santamaría International Airport of San Jose and Daniel Oduber Quirós. The airport tax for international flights is seventeen dollars.
However, there are two important national airlines: SANSA and Travelair. In this case, airline reservations must be made well in advance.
Visitors should be aware of the fact that for citizens of some countries no visa is required in order to remain in Costa Rica for ninety days.
