San Rafael has an International Airport located in Mendoza Province, in the Ciudad de Las Heras (La Heras City). This city is located about 300 kilometers away from San Rafael.

Domestic and international flights operate daily connecting Mendoza and Buenos Aires, the capital city, Santiago de Chile and the rest of the country.

Also, there is an airfield located 714 meters above sea level, with a landing strip 2300 meters long and a platform of 5000 square meters.
