In order to access Villa La Angostura by air, we must arrive at the Luis Candelaria International Airport in San Carlos de Bariloche first. Then, the journey must be completed by land.

The main airlines that operate at this airport are American Falcon, LADE, and Southern Winds.

Once in the airport, it is necessary to travel some twenty kilometers along route 237 until the intersection with route 231 is reached. We must follow this last route and sixty two kilometers ahead Villa la Angostura is reached.

By Bus

A bus to Villa la Angostura can be taken at the Bariloche Bus Terminal.

Once there, a local bus or any other transfer service or car rental service previously hired will take us to the Villa.

Regarding local transport, Algarrobal, Albus, Río de la Plata, Tas Choapa and Andesmar are the companies that offer daily services.

By Car

In order to travel from Bariloche to Villa la Angostura by car, we must travel along route 237 heading north some 20 kilometers. Once we reach the intersection with route 231, we must take this route and travel about seventy kilometers.

If the chosen option is to travel through the road known as “Camino de los Siete Lagos”, which begins at the province named San Martin de los Andes, then it is necessary to travel some ninety kilometers before arriving at Villa la Angostura.

In order travel from Buenos Aires by car the routes to follow are RN3 and then RP 51; from Bahia Blanca routes RN 22, 237 and 231 must be taken, from La Pampa, routes RN 5, 35, 152, 143 and RP 20 and, finally, from Santa Rosa RN 151, 22, 237 and 231.

If you are planning to travel from Neuquén then the following routes must be taken: RN 22, 237 y 231. From San Martin de los Andes and Junín de los Andes the national routes that must be followed are 234, 40, 237 and 231.
